Bible Emergency Numbers

David Olmos
Sometimes when I come across a really good article I like to pass it on.  Whether I found it or it is sent to me, if the article is worth reading then I want as many people to read it as possible. This weeks article was something that I came across by accident.  I was working on some upcoming lessons and stumbled upon a list of “Bible Emergency Numbers.”  I don’t know who authored it or for whom it was originally created.  It caught my attention pretty quickly and as I read through it I realized it was something that needed to be shared.  Perhaps you’ve already seen this, or perhaps this is new to you, whatever the case may be I recommend keeping this list and referring to it if you ever find yourself in a spiritual emergency.

I don’t know the problems you are going to face on a day-to-day basis.  I can’t tell you what struggles you are going to have this week, this month, or even this year.  I hope this list will help you in some small way.  If it’s not enough, or you want more, open your Bible and start reading.  The Bible is a compass that, if followed properly, can guide you in the right direction when you deal with the many challenges you face.  God never said it would be easy.  He did say, “For you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness.  And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing” (James 1:3-4).  Always remember: In the event of an emergency your Bible may be used as a soul saving device.
